Welcome to another year of MAYHEM!!
As all good STEM “nerds” we on FRC Team 1519 love numbers!
The 2019 FRC season is extra special to us in a numerical sense because:
- Our 15th season is the year ‘19
- Kickoff of the new challenge is on 1.5.19
We look forward to a great season!
On January 5, 2019, “DESTINATION DEEP SPACE,” was unveiled. During the game two competing alliances of three robots each deploy their robots from the habitat zones, prepare rockets and a cargo ship with hatch panels (large flat discs), and load cargo pods (balls) into their rockets and ship. At the end of the match, robots return safely to the alliance’s habitat, attempting to scale high platforms for even more points.

Mechanical Mayhem is registered to participate in two 2019 district tournaments: Granite State District in Salem, NH, on February 28-March 2, and Pine Tree District in Lewiston, ME, on April 4-6. Our goal is to once again qualify to attend the New England Championship held in Worcester, MA, on April 10-13, and then go on to qualify for World Championships, April 24-27.
